Join LeaderSHIFT and Pacific Mountain Regional Council Ministry Personnel Support Team in Naramata, Okanagan Syilx territory, this October 22-25, 2024.

We invite you to come centre your spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental health, in worshipful and grounded community.

Clergy Rest & Renewal Retreat is about

• Supporting your time of learning, reflecting, and rest in private accommodation with all meals, snacks, and course materials provided.

• Sharing times of worship, music and intentional silence, you'll delight in the beauty of place, finding and making fun in the company of colleagues.

• Taking part in optional renewal experiences such as Healing Touch, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Forest Bathing/Wild Church, and Spiritual Direction

Rev. Wade Lifton - Retreat Facilitator

Wade is a playful and contemplative leader who provides spiritual care with Island Health. Over the years his time has been spent raising pigs, studying theatre, and organizing rainwater harvesting. He loves exploring how we stay gentle and courageous in all that life brings.

CHRIStopher GIFFEN - worship & music leadership

Christopher is a long-time United Church geek! He moved south of the border a decade ago to study Body-Centred psychotherapy in San Francisco, California, and now lives and practices n Bellingham, Washington, with his partner Clara, and son Isaac. Chris has been writing and leading music and improvising songs with groups since he was a teenager. Chris is a member of rEvolve and has led music in gatherings, large and small, across the UCCan. Chris is passionate about connecting with Earth, Self, Community and the Divine through music, ritual and poetry. He just finished a summer on staff at Naramata Centre doing just that.
