Beloved:
You have been pouring out
in the faithful work of encouraging, guiding, supporting the community of faith.
You’ve been learning, inventing, advocating,
listening, talking, talking,
talking to make a path in and through the pandemic, the fires, the floods, the aloneness, the togetherness, the cold, the heat…the everything.
And now it is the cusp of Lent,
again, and yet
again a new set of circumstances.
come as you are, exactly as you are,
to Song and to Prayer
designed to nourish us
as we find our way to
the great Mystery of Easter
‘Finding Our Way to Easter’ is a live, 20-minute time of worship
9am Pacific / 10am Mountain
Each Tuesday morning of Lent
March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 April 5, 12 2022
Come, worship

WADE LIFTON and DAWN PEMBERTON
Wade is a playful and contemplative leader who wonders about how we stay gentle and courageous in all that life brings. He lives in a cohousing community in Vancouver and is the Spiritual Care Leader at a hospice and long-term care centre.
Vibrant, genuine and soulful, Dawn has deep musical roots that take her powerful voice from gospel and soul to jazz, funk and world music. She has become a staple of the Vancouver music scene and can often be found tearin’ it up as a vocalist, pianist, teacher, adjudicator, choir director and “go to girl” for live performances and studio sessions. This former Youth Minister grew up in the United Church and spent many years sleeping on church floors and making music for retreats, conferences and summers at Naramata. Currently, Dawn is the host of her own funk, soul, and r&b on the CKUA Radio Network, called “Get on The Good Foot”. Prior to March 2020 she spent her time touring with her own original music project as well as, Moira Smiley + VOCO, The Bluesberries, and Canadian blues juggernaut,The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer.
