Worship options in a time of physical distancing
This Online Engagement Session is an exciting and important joint project of LeaderShift and the PMR First Third Ministry Network.
This two-part online engagement session will discuss the Pros and Cons of live streaming vs pre-recording vs written reflections vs anything else we (the course participants) can come up with.
When communities of faith can't gather together in person, it necessitates changes to the worship experience. Live streaming your service might be the first option that comes to mind, but it's not the only one, and it may or may not be the best for you and your community.
Join Allan Buckingham, creator of Together We Worship — a resource targeted at communities of faith without ministry personnel — for a discussion of the pros and cons of various ways your community of faith might be able to worship. Options included will be live streaming, phone/audio only, pre-recorded video, text prayers and reflections and others. We'll also take a look at the basics of some of these options, so you know what you're dealing with as we discuss the merits for you and your community of faith.
