An Invitation to Becoming an Intercultural Community of Faith

Join us for a deep dive into the realities of being and becoming more intercultural in our habits and practices. This is a great workshop for anyone who’s noticing how some ideas of cultural identity are affecting people’s comfort, safety, belonging and participation in communities of faith and neighbourhoods — and who wants to reflect more deeply on their own ways of welcoming people in. UK-based Michael Jagessar facilitates this interactive workshop using the lens of sacred text, theology and his own lived experience as a human of multiple belonging.

Worship & Music Leadership by Cari Copeman-Haynes, Bruce Harding and Amarjeet Singh!

Beyond Good Intentions is a LeaderShift Workshop in Partnership with the Pacific Mountain Regional Council’s Intercultural Ministry Network. Read more about Micheal Jagessar’s work with The United Reform Church Global & Intercultural Ministries, where Michael is staff.
