Deep Dive - A time for Ministry Personnel pre-PMRC AGM

Come to Vancouver BC a day early to explore how we are called to minister and lead in this time and place, post-pandemic. How did you embrace ministry during the pandemic, and what did you learn? What do we want to lament, and what do we want to ask God’s blessings on? How can we support one another in the challenging work of ministry leadership today?

Begins Wed. May 29 at 1 pm, and ends Thursday, May 30 with lunch

Location: St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, Downtown Vancouver BC.

The Very Rev. Gary Paterson will be in conversation with 2018 McGeachy scholar and author Janet Gear this coming Monday - and this remarkable event could not come at a better time, when so many of us are asking the very question: what are we called to do?

I think you've done some work with Janet in the past, or engaged with her book or research. For me, revisiting familiar topics and sitting in community do so offers something new and different and remarkable every time I say yes to the opportunity. I know that if you can make it, listening to and talking with Gary and Janet will be rich with blessings for you! I'm excited for our LeaderSHIFT network to be connected with the United Church of Canada Foundation with this event, too.
